Tim is a manufacturing executive who has worked across a broad range of industries including medical, aerospace, automotive and semiconductor capital equipment. He started out working as an engineer on the shop floor, and over time moved into various C level roles. He has held senior management positions with Danaher, Emerson Electric and Welch Allyn. In 2005 he was part of the management team that executed a corporate carve out of Arnold Magnetic Technologies in partnership with Audax Private Equity. He later became CEO and helped orchestrate a successful exit in 2012. Most recently he was President of the Specialist Components Division of Essentra PLC which consisted of a group of 6 diverse orphaned manufacturing companies. He led the divesture of 4 of the businesses, and after a turnaround folded 2 back into the main divisions. He was also Chairman of the Rochester Angel Network which raised a fund of $2.3M and invested in 14 start-ups across a broad range of industries.
